Celebrate!

Today is a BIG day today is my SIL– Tracey’s 50th Birtday! To help Celebrate Tracey’s BIG day I thought I would have a little blog candy! So, I am offering a certificate to Etsy seller thestarbox for a 2 x2 custom made stamp. Debi can  can create an image for you, or use an image you  already have, it can promote you blog, be an address stamp, or a  thank you stamp. All you have to do to enter is leave Tracey a Birthday wish! I will draw a winner Friday morning! Good Luck!

Yesterday was the start of my online Art Journaling 102 class! I had a little time in the morning to read the lesson and watch the videos. Then in the afternoon when Sam napped for an hour I got part of my assignment done. We had to pick a motif- I choose a seahorse. I am really attracted to the ocean. So my journal for this class is going to be about the ocean. The one thing I did was decide to work on loose pieces of watercolor paper then after the class bind them into a book. I love the free feel to working on the blank sheets!

  4. Great seahorses. I’ve been thinking of doing an art journal with loose pages like this and binding it at the end. It does seem like such a loose way to make a book. The whole bound journal thing intimidates me but one page at a time I think I can handle. Happy bday to your lovely cousin, Tracey. I left a note for her on her blog.
