Getting “SHAPED”

Happy Saturday everyone!  Happy Labor day weekend for you all in the USA!

Today, is Sunflower and Dragonflies Creative Designs weekly challenge- S&D7! Shaped Cards is what the challenge is this week!

Remember: You are welcome to use any product. Of course we’d prefer that you use images by Sunflowers and Dragonflies Creative Designs, but feel free to use other images if you don’t have one of ours.  This week’s prize is Labels two from Spellbinder Nestabilities.

With the temps being really cool and nice the last couple of weeks, all I can think of  is fall! I love FALL! I made an acorn shaped card! The bottom part swings up to write your message. I designed the card using a pattern for a teachers website (don’t remember which one).  The acorn was for a matching game.

Supplies: S&D stamps- Thinking of you from the 4 seasons set and the top of the acorn is the Egyptian door,  Buttons, hand stitching, scalloped square nestabilities, buttons, hand stitching, leaves are made from air dry polymer clay and a mold, brad, colored pencils.

  2. This gives me that cozy feeling with the shape of your card. The handstitching is such a wonderful touch that says, “I love you.”
