S&D One layer

Good Saturday Morning everyone.  Time for Sunflower and Dragonflies Creative Designs Challenge…..One layer cards!

Now this was super super hard for me 😦 I most have done my card over 10 time. I guess I like my layers.

Also here is important message from Beth Norman (taken from her blog):

“I have a fabulous design team, and I’m so grateful for their hard work.  Due to health reasons, I asked my wonderful design team to turn to other ventures.   It is hard to write this post because I would like to go into more detail, but at this time I will keep things brief.

On a positive note, my new blog is getting closer; I’m at the top of Michelle’s list so we will discuss my needs in the upcoming week.

My business is still around, so you can still order from me.

Thank you for your understanding.”

Beth it has been truly amazing to work with you! Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers!

Go ahead and try one layer cards!

  1. Single layer cards are tough. You rose to the occasion. So sorry to hear Beth is not well. Hugs.

  2. Great card Kim! Feel bad that you are disbanding … I know how much time and effort you put into this and how much it meant to you.

  3. Gah, I am too sorry to hear that Beth is not well. But atleast this will open up other oppurtunitiese for you such as focusing on Ippity!

One layer cards are hard, my friend. I struggle very much so – but you work at it long enough (or try not to) and presto.

  4. Great card Kim, love all the colors you added to it. Had I not read your post I would have never known you had trouble with this challenge. You did a fab job, but I can understand where your coming from, I like my layers too!

  5. You did such a fab job and clearly you only think you have trouble. Totally love the bg GF!
