Crusade No. 41 ~ Grid Lock

Finally, summer is here and I have a little more time to play in my studio! I thought I would get busy with the GPP Street crusade for this month! I actually did two takes on this crusade. Off course I two totally different styles in each of the projects…. yep, I am a Pisces! LOL!

Take one, my jounral page ( I have not worked in my journal is months…sigh) So, this felt really good!

4  1/2 inches  x 6 1/2 inches page

Next, I did a great grid lock frame and covered it in wax

Here are some close-ups!

The crusade was a lot of fun! As, I was talking with Miss College Ink about the challenge. I was telling her some of other crusades…and she was making fun of me for not doing last Crusade…since I NEVER work big it makes me FREAK OUT! So, she challenge me…game on- I got a 12 x 28 wooden panel all primed and ready to go! I can do it, right??? I can…I can!

Thanks for stopping in! Have a great day 🙂 Your comments melt my heart,  Thank you …Thank you!

Hugs,

I love your grid lock pieces. Are those hearts on the journal pages embossed? And your frame is beautiful!

  8. These are fabulous, K. The time away from your craft room must have really got your creative energy flowing overtime to do two pieces. Love the metallic butterflies and the wax encaustic piece is amazing.

  9. These grids are amazing… I really like the “bursting out butterflies!” I’m new to the crusades, it’s been really fun for me. Happy creations, tj in germany
