Shine

What does Shine mean:

1.to give forth or glow with light; shed or cast light.
2.to be bright with reflected light; glisten; sparkle.
3.(of light) to appear brightly or strongly, especially uncomfortably so: Wear dark glasses so the sun won’t shine in your eyes.
4.to be or appear unusually animated or bright, as the eyes or face.
5.to appear with brightness or clearness, as feelings.
6.to excel or be conspicuous: to shine in school.

Do you feel like you shine? Do you feel,  that sometimes when you look at someone and that they just shine? Doesn’t it feel good when you feel like you shine. Being around people that shine make you want to shine right? Where the heck am I going with all this, well it brings me to my latest project.

When,  I was reading blogs the other day, I seen these necklaces they ranged from $55 to $85 dollars.  They used vintage jewelry pieces in them. I thought WOW those are awesome…I would love one. Then, I got that fever- you know the one that says- ummmm I can do that for much cheaper! So, I made a trip to Hobby Lobby- got my supplies for $11 and set off to work. Of course,  I had no vintage jewelry pieces so I worked with what I had.

Here is my piece.

Go ahead always shine bright!

Thanks for stopping and taking the time to  brighten my day with your comments! You all ROCK!

Hugs,

  3. Wowza. Where do I begin? This post is an OMGosh moment. Let’s start with your necklace. Totally awesome. What talent to see something and then create your own. Excellent. Your photo is beautiful. I love the B&W against that glowing (actually “shining”) necklace. And no, I don’t shine.
