Happy Heart Day to everyone! I love making Valentine’s Day cards. I think it takes me back to the time in my life when things were simpler! Plus it was lots of fun! Paper, glue, crayons, glitter, oh my the fun you can have!
One of the things, I have tried to teach my boys is the importance of making things from the heart! We have been planning Valentine’s for way over a month!
Here is Sam’s:
Here is Ben’s:
Ben also had to make a box to hold his Valentine:
We used paint, stencils, stickers, tape, ribbon and a ballon. Ben had the best time making it and was so proud of it!
Remember a while back I gave you some sneak peeks of some project I was working on??? Well they were for the Fiskarteers blog. I was given two new punches – the Jenni Bowlin Blue Ribbon and Grandm’s Doily.
First, I made this little matchbox! I used the circle part of the blue ribbon punch to make the pom pom on the top of the box. Made a stencil out of Grandma’s doily.
Next up:
A bag full of candy for my sweetheart!
Then:
Of course then you need a little card and envelope to go with your gift!
Finally:
I made two pendants. One simple and one beaded!
Look at the different ways, I was able to use these punches!
Hope everyone has a wonderful Valentine’s Day!
Hugs,
WOW so creative! I love each and everyone of them, but my favorite is the beaded pendant. Great color choices. You are so good at thinking outside the box and you really proved that with the different ways you used each one. Fantastic!
