Another week of above average temps plus the boys being off school for spring break lead to lots of nature walks. I was able to get out with Tracey multiple times. I’m so blessed to have such an awesome SIL! I am very thankful for her friendship. Love ya, Trace!
Okay, here are my favorite Macros:
Then a little live trap humor:
Thanks for stopping in to check out my shots! Hope you all have a wonderful Easter!

Hi! I'm Kim...my friends call me K, Nan, Nan K or Kimmer. I have been doing art for as long as I can remember. I even stayed an extra year in high school to stay and play in the art room with my favorite Art teacher, Mrs. Belling. Mixed media is something I am really loving to play with but then I enjoy doing anything art related. I am still search for my niche in art. Hopefully someday I will find it! Maybe it will find me! These are awesome. The last one is funny haha.
These shots are all wonderful, but I have to say a couple stand out for me. The red leaves growing out of the tree are beautiful, love the angle of your shot and the brightness of the red against the dull bark. I am amazed by the texture on the wildflower shot, as well as the graceful arch of the flower. Stunning! Your trapped squirrel shot and the bubble are hilarious! Just too funny. I am blessed with a wonderful sister in law (and friend) too! Love you too!
Gorgeous shots but my favorite is the leaves on the tree trunk! True friendship is a real blessing and it sounds like you are blessed!
Gorgeous shots! I love the one with the leaves coming out of the tree bark. I also have a big smile on my face from the little humor!
Amazing shots! Love the colors. Cute little guy,…. 😉
What a delightful grouping of photos! I love the red leaves coming from the tree trunk too! Everything is so perfectly clear and the lighting is so…perfect. (Is there a limit on how many times I can use “perfect” in this context?!) 🙂
I really like the shot of the red leaves appearing on the tree trunk.
I like the blue plumbago ‘star’ blossom and the spouting leaves the best.
AND!!! the humorous squirrel.
COME INTO MY PARLOR said the SPIDER to the FLY is my Monday post link. Do come by if you get a chance, I’d love to have your company!!!
