Good times

Happy Sunday night everyone! The PACKERS are going to the Superbowl! Excitement is in the air!

Yesterday, Was a local art event Art event for Friends of Noah- Arftic Arts for the Animals. I’m very passion about animals and it is a great cause! I was happy to have my stuff accepted for the sale. I was even more happy one of my framed collages went for a pretty good price in the silent auction.

Chelsea came down and helped me out with my booth and put some pretty dang cute human and dog treats for sale in the booth.

It was great to meet some like minded artist. Two of my favorites were Xanthe Walker and Kathleen Ward. Both ladies total sweethearts! I MUST have Kathleen make me one of her adorable creatures for my Birthday!

First thing this am- I got right on doing my Project Life Journal! This week got pretty busy for me with getting ready for the show,  sick ink spots and a case of hives on my face this week.

Thanks for stopping in! Hope your weekend was wonderful!

PLJ- Week 1

WOW, one full week until the belt in the New Year! I can hardly believe it- everyone has been back to work and school for a week! I guess getting sick made that time go bye a little faster! I am starting to feel a little bit better!

Here are my Project Life Journal pages for week 1

Page 2

Total time it took me to do these pages was 1 hr and that includes going to get the photos made- my place had them done in 10 minutes!

Page one all art work was from school work done by Sam. Page two all art work done by Ben from his school work!

I am keeping the pages really simple just using what we have around the house. The cost for the photos about a dollar! Each day,  I have been writing down highlights on an electronic datebook! Made it super easy to do the journaling!

Tonight, I have a date with my little guys to do some art shopping then head the studio time until the Bucks game 🙂

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Thanks for stopping in!

Happy New Year

A New Year with New Opportunities- so exciting! A couple of days ago I read about this scrapbook system (I am not a scrapbooker- those pages are HUGE and scare me). It is called Project Life by Becky Higgins. I thought well that looks like fun, easy, and I might be able to do! If you know me well you know I MUST have paint and ink on my pages- so is this cute kit going to work for me???? mmmm only if it was 8 1/2 x 11 inches that would make me feel better! So, I set out Yesterday in search of pages and a binder…Check and Check! So, today I got busy and started setting up my book.

Close up of one of the cards

One of the cards I put in the title page has my word of the year on it- TEEM

++++ Be abundant, to be full, to be overflowing, to bring forth++++

Hope you all had a wonderful New Year! I look forward to showing your all my Project life pages and other creativity endeavors this year!
