The last two days for me have started at 2am. The oldest Ink spot has come done with a stomach bug. Yesterday, I did 3 loads of laundry and clean 3 carpets (love my new carpet cleaner). Poor boy! It was a long day. Today at 2am Sam made it to the bathroom! WOO HOO- only up with him no clean up!

Mr. Ink is working days today as he has all week. Today, he will complete is master journeyman training. I am so proud of him. He has worked really hard. Never thought I would see him sit down each night and do homework!

This weekend was Ben’s Birthday Party. His Birthday is tomorrow but so that Mr. Ink would be able to celebrate with us we did it on Sunday before the Super Bowl. We all had a great time bowling! Lots of giggling was going on! te he he!

So my creative time as been little to none 😦 But, I do have a few random things to share with you! Random is good right?

Cupcake wishes….

Happy Fri-cake day! Oh my this week is going fast but not fast enough for me! I am waiting for Sunday! Chelsea and I have an art play date that includes getting the best pizza on earth in Mad City! We are celebrating Chels Birthday which was yesterday! Hope all your Cupcake Wishes came to this Birthday, Chels 🙂

Schedule…

ahhh everyone is back to work and school we are back on schedules! I love it! I think I get as messed up as the Ink spot when we do not have a schedule! LOL! Sam had a hard time getting up today but I’m hoping he had a good day 🙂 Ben is back to take a nap which means I get my studio time back! YIPPEE!

Today in the mail I got my new stamps from Sugar Lump Studio’s. All the stamps are more than 50% off and they are nice deep red rubber! I have wanted the by the sea set for a long time! I am so happy I got them.  I had to ink them up right away! Tami at Dapple Designs has done this wonderful video on Painting with Alcohol Inks. Well, I only had this small piece of acetate to work with but I wanted to give it a go. The acetate piece is about ATC size!  I made the card 5 x 5 inches. I followed Tami’s instructions but before I painted the back of the acetate I put done some text behind the girl.  I am wishing I had more colors of AI now 🙂
