I have been trying to squeeze in art time when I can. Yesterday, I got the bright idea to bring my paints outside while the ink spot played! Well, it would have worked if the paints did not dry so fast! LOL! It was only 80 degrees too. I did more on lesson 1 of Layer Love. In the mood for some change I worked in a color I just do not use much! Purple :)After I finished the background- I put a winged girl on it.
I drew out the girl on the background then put a layer of gesso down. Then painted her with watercolors and oil pastels. Then outlining with a black marker.
I have to say that taking Julie’s LAYER LOVE class has got my creative juices flowing again! It’s not to late to join in on the layer love fun- you have until Friday, May 22- to sign up! Run don’t walk! You don’t want to miss it!
Thanks for stopping in Happy Hump day!
Hugs,

Looks like Leighia. Very cute. Your drawing is amazing. The black and purple bg turned out very nice. You rock!
