P52- Cabin Fever

The prompt this week at P52 is cabin fever! I can honestly say that this year I have not gotten cabin fever to bad since it has been such a mild winter. I have been able to get out in nature quite a bit. I do long to get up to the family farm (cabin) and connect with nature. Since, I  can’t make it to the family farm yet, I found this sweet little cabin!

The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be and that God wishes to see people happy, amidst the simple beauty of nature. As long as this exists, and it certainly always will, I know that then there will always be comfort for every sorrow, whatever the circumstances may be. And I firmly believe that nature brings solace in all troubles.                                                     By Ann Frank

P52- True Love

The prompt this week is true love. I have been married to my sweetheart since 1999. We both love the out doors for very different reason. He is a avid hunter and the only thinking I want to shoot is nature with my camera! Never the less being out in nature is something we have in common. This heart on the tree, shows our true love!

Thanks for stopping in to check out my photo this week! Hope everyone has a wonderful week!

How does time seem to keep going so fast? I can’t believe it is time again for P52. The theme is Shadows! My household is finally over the flu bug and has moved on to sinus infections. I am the only one not sick right now, I can tell you I am pushing the zinc and air borne and praying I do not get that junk. LOL.

They say if the ground hog sees his shadow early spring! So, I am guess the same goes for the duck! Right????

Here’s to an early spring! Thanks for stopping in to check out my photo! Have a wonderful Friday!

For the past few years my New Year’s Resolution has been one word! It seems to work for me.  I have so many things, I want to accomplish this year. So many hopes and dreams, but with that comes complications. A balancing act, needs to be done to accomplish great things. One of things I want to do is participate  in more challenges, really challenge myself in my art and photography. So, one of the things I signed up to participate in is Project 52– a weekly photo challenge with themes.

The first theme for the week in 2012 is Resolution.  I thought that this would be the perfect time to announce my word – HARMONY

What’s everyone resolutions? I can wait to read about yours!

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop in to visit!
