It was hard to send my book off in the end! I really loved making the pages! I can’t wait until this summer when the book are on tour. They will be in Chicago which is the closest place to me, and for sure I will going to see them!

I signed up for The Sketchbook Project 2011 a while back! I thought oh this will be fun and cool. I can do this! The journal has to be post marked by January 15th. I have started this journal 2 times and did not like what I did. So, I thought forget it- I just will not do it! I can’t do it!!!! Of course I keep thinking and thinking about this project . It was really bugging me that I had this book signed up and then was going to FLAKE on it! So, I pushed though it and got it done! Mailed it out on Monday 🙂
My theme for my book was I’m a scavenger! Which if you know me is ME! The boys and I have been busy looking for any bits of paper on the ground! You should see people look at you when you cheer your boys on when they find a grocery list on the ground! LOL!
For my book, I made all the background papers out of all those papers we found. All items were found! All the photos are mine. Lots of machine stitching and staples! If you read each page it is the poem The Little Birds, that I found in a vintage poem book!
I am going to show you half my book today and half tomorrow- it’s a lot of photos!
