38 special!!!!

Today is my Birthday! Don’t you just love Birthday’s????? A day to celebrate you! I have been thinking long and hard about what I wanted to do for my 38th Birthday! I thought about 38 goals for the year…but was like heck I can’t even thinking of 10 goals let alone 38. Then, yesterday while reading Peggy’s blog … I was struck with what to do! The yellow envelope project!

The Yellow Envelope Project is a program specializing in the recognition of every day citizens who are working hard to make a difference in their corner of the world. Selection of Yellow Envelope Project honorees is reserved for those who work hard, but who otherwise would receive no recognition. This is your postman, your neighbor, your day care provider, a teacher, a classroom mom, the barista at your local coffee shop, or the coach who spends hours with your child. They are hard working people whose work makes the world a brighter place.

Of course, I can get out 38 cards this year! I am going to change it up to postcards! SMILE

Good afternoon, from rainy Wisconsin! It’s time for the Sunflower and Dragonflies Creative Designs challenge #33- Luck of the Irish! Grab your St. Patrick’s day stamps and get busy.

I love St. Patrick’s Day since it is the day after my Birthday! Gives me one more day to celebrate! SMILE!

I made this sweet little St Patty’s Day basket using the template over at splitcoaststampers and using JustRite Favorite Occasions Borders

The prize this week is BasicGrey Urban paper pad and Lucid Primas!

Keep swimming!

“ippity set- Fishy Philosophy”

Sometimes the best life lesson is just keep swimming! Don’t look at those at tempting  you to do wrong! If  those bullies know what they are doing bothers you they will do it more.  The boys are learning some hard lessons this week! I am very proud of  both the ink spot for  not being tempted to wail off and hit those teasing and hitting them. Being a bully is not cool no matter what !!!!!!Very disappointment in the school system that this kind of behavior goes on with out a word being said.

Sock Monkey Madness

Today the Chelsea (BFF) and Jenni all started our day off at the Stockholm Inn for some breakfast and a little monkey business.

Then it was off to Midway Village for Sock Monkey Madness! We signed up to make sock monkeys. They also had a special animal you could make which was a bunny- Chels and I made it. Jenni went with classic and made the monkey.

Once Lilly made it home she wanted to get all dressed up for the Oscars tonight *WINK WINK*

Good Afternoon and Happy Valentine’s Weekend! Today the challenge at Sunflower and Dragonflies Creative Designs is use the colors pink, red, and cream in a card/project!

I made a mini note card ( 2 x 2) and mini milk carton! Such a sweet little spring lovely to put some one lunch! I made it using the SU Mini Milk Carton Big shot die, Four Season set, colored with copics, and clear gel pen, nestiabilities Classic Scalloped Squares Large and Classic Squares Large
