Happy 4th of July!!!!!!

Today is the day of Scrapbook News and Review’s “Oh Say Can You See” blog hop, so  I invite you to hop around the Internet and visit some amazing blogs.

I’m so glad you could join the SNR Card Universe Blog Hop! If you came from Gerrie Johnnic blog  you are on the right track! If you didn’t you may want to hop to (link to the SNR Card Universe: http://snrcardiverse.ning.com/and start at the beginning.

To me 4th of July is a celebration of Freedom we have in the USA. I would like to take a moment to thank all the men and woman that are fighting for our freedom and their families. I personally know how hard it is on the families two special soldiers in my life our currently deployed-Brandon Brazil and Dan Caldwell! God speed home.We can’t wait for this war to be over and you be home for good!

Nothing says a celebrations better than a banner to me, plus I have tons of 4 x 4 coasters! LOL!

Supplies: Sunflower and Dragonflies Creative Designs 4th of July cake stamp, gesso to cover the coasters with, acrylics, stencil, white pen, charcole pencil, ebony pencil, crepe paper to make the medallions, stickles, flowers, string, felt letters, 4×4 coasters and brad. I used Koh-I-Noor woodless colored pencils to color the cake image. They color over a layer of acrylic wonderfully.

ARE YOU HUNGRY FOR SOME BLOG CANDY????

One lucky person will win a  4th of July cake stamp (so many uses for this cake stamp other than the 4th of July- here is another project I did with it) and custom-made “made by” stamp for the back of your cards. To enter simply leave me a comment.  You have until Sunday July 5th at 10pm CST to enter. Good luck 🙂
