Life sometimes throws you a curve ball or two! As we try to discover what path we should alternative route we should take, some questions need to be asked! I am sort of at a cross roads with my genealogy. Part of the problem is I have been in a funky since having to put my kitty to sleep. So, what better why to get over something then to journal it! I went to work in my new journal that I made in Julie’s Super Nova class. St. Gertrude was the patronage of cats. My Great Grandma was Gertrude. Not sure if she was a cat lover or not! She passed away when I was very young. The only story I have ever hear about her is she was lived in a nursing and she went out to the store and got what she thought was chocolate and gave it to all her friends in the nursing home. They all got a bad case of diarrhea. Great Grandma Gertie never got to go out to the store again!
5×7 inch page- Watercolors and markers
Today, Ben drew a picture of me at school. I think I look lovely! I am a little self conscious of my ears now though! LOL!
Have a great evening! Thanks for stopping in!
Hugs,
I always love to see someone turn what could be considered a negative, into a positive. What a great idea to create this journal page in memory of your beloved cat. And I can also see that you have a budding artist on your hands…and I think your ears are perfect! Well done, both of you!
ROFWL–self conscious about your ears are you? Yah, I would be too–LOL.
I am so sorry that you are going through such a hard time. Journaling should help. Your page is gorgeous. Lovely background and doodling.
Oh sweetheart, I’m so sorry to hear about your kitty-I’m giving you a cyber hug! Take care K 🙂
HAHA! Love your picture..
And this page too…love the text and the drawing..nice style!
I am so sorry about the loss of your beloved kitty. I love the page you made and I hope it brought you some peace and comfort. I had to crack up at the ear comment, too funny.
