Happy Tuesday everyone! Since it was a long weekend with it being Labor Day yesterday. We thought it was the perfect time to head to family farm. It is the one place we find serenity. Which was just what we all needed.  We spent lots of time hiking around and exploring. The boys always seemed to be on a treasure hunt…watch out Picker Sisters- The Brothers are on your heels (te he he).

Here is the inspiration for my bracelet:

“My Serenity”

I made the serenity piece out of polymer clay. I used leather, wood beads, copper beads, blue green beads, with copper findings.

The count down is on for the start of my stuff at the local Farmer’s Market, starts this Saturday!  Hope you have a great day.

Thanks for taking the time to visit  me! You comments mean the world to me!

When life takes your breath away

Have you ever had life,  just take your breath away? Sometimes it is a wonderful thing that takes your breath away…sunsets, nature, a beautiful person, etc… Sometimes it is something shocking, something you did not see coming and it hits you like a ton of bricks.

Life continues to take my breath away. As, I try to keep my lungs full of air. I have to remember what is most important to me. Then my lungs can  fill of air again once again.

Here is my bracelet “Just Breathe”

Bracelet is leather. Hand embossed and painted. Center collage done by me.

As you seen yesterday, Chelsea is now an amuse studio demo. So, to support her and to have a little fun myself. I made a card for the Amuse-A-Palooza challenge #1: Glitter.

Supplies: Stamps used Amuse Studios: Mad for Plaids and Thank you mix, amuse studio button blackberry, lace, frost glitter, kraft and white card stock, flowers are Sizzix

In other news the boys got registered for school today 🙂 Found out who their teachers are going to be. Both are very excited to be starting school on Sept. 1st 🙂 Seems impossible that I have a 1st and 3rd grader!

Thanks for stopping in to visit! Have a wonderful day! To everyone that takes the time to comment- thank you so much 🙂

Focus on the journey, not the destination. Joy is found not in finishing an activity but in doing it.

What makes you cheerful ? Is it the big things in life that make you cheerful and happy? Like when you get something you have always wanted (material things)? Or is it the little things in life that make you happy? Like taking a walk and seeing a new kind of bird? Sometimes,  I think what makes us cheerful is a combination of the big things and the small things.  If you give respect to everyone for what makes them cheerful and happy the world would be a better place. Let people be who they are and enjoy what makes them happy.

Here are some of things that have made me CHEERFUL THIS WEEK:

Stamped nails done by me

New flower on one of my daylilies

Snowman Sam made in his art class

Painting Sam did in his art class

Going to the fair with my boys and good friends

Cheesecake from PhatPenguins Cheesecakes

Making some earrings!

Cheerful things are all around you if you take the time to look for them! Appreciate all the small things, they make life so much more meaningful.  If you believe it…it is possible.

Thanks for stopping in to visit with me! Enjoy your Sunday 🙂
