A group of my art friends were swapping out Owl Atc’s..well I had to get in on that action we all know how I love OWLS.

One things with me and making multiples- I do not like it 😦 I used all the same supplies, but different placement and wording making them really one of a kind 🙂

Update: Lycos made it though surgery just find! Is starting to stand and doing pretty well! Hoping he will be sent home tomorrow! Will not know bone marrow results until next week sometime. Thank you for all your doggie prayers!
Today the youngest ink spot goes in for a CT scan of his sinus. Wish him luck! It is very scared about it!

WOW, what a weekend. I finally started to feel like I was going to live again on Sunday! Even got out of the house for a few hours with out the inkspots! Thinking it was smooth sailing now…….
ATC’s using Sunflower and Dragonflies Creative Designs stamp.
Well, that smooth sailing lasted until about 11am when the school nurse called me. Poor Sam has the flu! Puked all over in the lunch room! He was the 3rd one in 30 minutes! YIKES!!!! I did such finish up my Mixed Media Monday project (it is still drying). Other than that, I have had no time or engery to be creative!
The high light of my day was getting my new custom made stamp!

in WI! Once again we are below zero. My studio is in the basement which is freezing right now. So not sure if I will go down and work anymore today or not. Today, I have worked on two things:
The pink board book pages I showed on Thursday night and a Zentangle ATC.
First I will show you the pink pages:
It is coming along nice. I did two gel transfers using a really old page of a garden book- as you can see it did not work out! Which is ok- more layers to my secret garden then! SMILE!
Next up is a Zentangle ATC. You are wondering what Zentangle is, right? Well it is: an easy to learn method of creating beautiful images from repetitive patterns. It is a fascinating new art form that is fun and relaxing. It increases focus and creativity. Zentangle provides artistic satisfaction and an increased sense of personal well being. Zentangle is enjoyed by a wide range of skills and ages and is used in many fields of interest.
I got an email about a Zentangle kit today that is what started all this. As I look at kit and the gallery of Zentangle art. I thought HOLEY BUCKETS this is what I have been doing my whole life. I have alway did these funky patterns and colored them in even. It was always a way for me to relax. Last night I was brain storming ideas in my sketch book and started to do a zentangle on the page. I had NO idea they had a name last night! I would show you what I did last night but my brain storming page as TOP SERCRET project ideas on it! LOL! I spend about two hour this am working on an ATC sized one while the boys watched cartoons.
I did not use the right pen or paper on this- so it is very sketchy looking! I use my black uni-ball signo 207 and some vanilla cardstock. They say to use Sakura’s Pigma Micron 01 black pen and for paper 100% cotton, heavy-weight fine artists’ pape. The paper or tiles as they call them are 3 1/2 inch squares!
