Regal secrets- BJP February

Hi! Here, I am with my February Bead Journal Project.

febbjp1 febbjp2 febbjp3

February is the month my youngest son was born. The birth stone for February is Amethyst. Which is the color purple. So that is why I used purple. The color purple has a variety of effects on the mind and body, including uplifting spirits, calming the mind and nerves, enhancing the sacred, creating feelings of spirituality, increasing nurturing tendencies and sensitivity, and encouraging imagination and creativity. The white beads represent  pure, clean, and innocent. Then the locket is to hold the deepest secrets of your heart. Most wears of lockets put a picture or a lock of hair in it. A locket is entirely personal and sentimental to the wearer.

I am almost back on track with my Bead Journal Project. I am currently about half done with March.

Thanks for stopping in to visit today.

Blooming Love- BJP

Good Saturday Morning everyone-

I know I have got away from blogging but I am back. I will be posting every Saturday morning. Today, I am here to show you my Bead Journal Project for this year. Of course, I am all ready behind. But, I am hoping to catch up with week.  Tracey and I spent a lot of time talking about going outside our comfort levels and trying something new. So, I decide I would do circles with needle felting and embellished with beads.

The finished piece.

Now let me tell you a little about the piece.  The birthday stone for January is Garnet and is normal red. Red garnets have long been associated with blood purification.  To me meaning a clean fresh start.  Blue is the color of loyalty and faith so I out lined some of the felting in blue.  I used red seed beads too to show power that you need to have a clean start. Yellow suggest freshness. the color gold is associated with wealth and prosperity which I believe comes with a new beginning. The key is to help you unlock all the doors you thought were closed or to hard to open. The wooden bead that says LOVE is to remind you to keep love in our heart.  Then you truly can have a blooming love all year long.

Thanks so much for stopping in.  Hope you enjoyed seeing my Bead Journal Project.

The meaning of my Trust the Journey necklace:

Pendant-  The nest is a symbol of being strong and protected. (I created a collage on the back of a game piece)

The number 3 is a triangle- also meaning God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit.

The word trust means  belief that someone or something is reliable, good, honest, effective, etc.

The yellow’s meaning is the color of the mind and the intellect. It is optimistic and cheerful.

Dream catcher- Only good dreams would be allowed to filter through… Bad dreams would stay in the net, disappearing with the light of day.”

River Stone is known to hold powerful energy, providing the wearer with strength, energizing the entire aura, and speeding up internal and external processes.

(turquoise) color symbolizes richness, abundance and bounty

Copper has long been used as a healing metal.

paper beads mean a start and prayer. ( I made these paper beads out of some gelli art prints)

Cross- is the intersection of God’s love and His justice

Stitch it up…polar pal

pbstitched6x6

I made this card by stamping on fabric then stitching it up! The stamp is by Sunflowers and Dragonflies Creative Designs. Winter time means hot coffee and stitching for me at night. Well, I loved that I was able to stitch up this card at night and then in the morning make it into a card! I am so ready for spring but here in WI we are not even close to spring- boo hiss! They are calling for atleast 4 inches of snow today 😦

Thank you all for stopping in! Hope you all have a wonderful day! You comments always make my heart smile!

Sweet Treat

Hello…I have missed you all! Last week I hit a lot of speed bumps in my week. Making me think how precious each day is to me.  Then yesterday was my step-daughters graduation party! Leighia graduated a semester early! We are so proud of her. It was a wonderful party! But man oh man am I exhausted!

Today, I  just needed to take  a little me time and create something for fun! I got this triangle box template and thought it would be fun to make a sweet treat box out of it! This little box is filled with Cherry heads ( you know they are like lemon heads only cherry)

Embroidery

Its a SNAP

Last night,  I told you all that I would be starting a new embroidery project. It took me a long time to figure out what I wanted to work on. In my good old bin of embroidery stuff I found this cute little puppy dog 3 Pc Chair set. It is vintage and on linen.  I really wanted to do a Valentine tea towel but I do not have any right now. So, I started this puppy dog set. I  had been reading on Craftster about favorite and must have supplies. The one that suck out to me was Q-Snap, it is a embroidery hoop.  So,  today I headed out to Hobby Lobby with a 40% off coupon and pick one up! I got a 6 x 6 inch one. I am in LOVE it soooo much better than a round hoop!

Hope you are all having a wonderful and productive day! My foot is finally feeling better so I got all my Christmas stuff put away. Yippee! Thanks for stopping in!  See you all tomorrow- we are back to Fri-cake days. I am still working on the FORK- IT recipe book! SMILE!
