Yellow Envelope Project

38 special!!!!

Today is my Birthday! Don’t you just love Birthday’s????? A day to celebrate you! I have been thinking long and hard about what I wanted to do for my 38th Birthday! I thought about 38 goals for the year…but was like heck I can’t even thinking of 10 goals let alone 38. Then, yesterday while reading Peggy’s blog … I was struck with what to do! The yellow envelope project!

The Yellow Envelope Project is a program specializing in the recognition of every day citizens who are working hard to make a difference in their corner of the world. Selection of Yellow Envelope Project honorees is reserved for those who work hard, but who otherwise would receive no recognition. This is your postman, your neighbor, your day care provider, a teacher, a classroom mom, the barista at your local coffee shop, or the coach who spends hours with your child. They are hard working people whose work makes the world a brighter place.

Of course, I can get out 38 cards this year! I am going to change it up to postcards! SMILE

Here is the first:

Thanks for stopping in! Have a great day! It is sunny and almost 50 degrees here! The perfect day! SMILE!

Growing

With it it being cold, snowy, icy, and icky outside I am not getting in all the walking in I do in the summer months!

Meet my new friend to help motivate me:

The cool thing about this pedometer is that it hooks up to your computer to help you track how you are doing! I find myself now running in place while watching for the microwave to be done! The Ink spots are always interested in how many steps I take! It has been lots of fun! 4 miles yesterday! My goal is 10 miles! SMILE!

Happy Hump Day! Thanks so much for taken the time in your busy day to seem me! Your comments brighten my day!

Love Letter: Crusade No. 37

The crusade this month was love letters xox. So, to make it real love letters I made post cards.  I sent them out today to three special people, my kids! They remind me that I am bad about doing art for them! Now lets see how long it takes them to get to us. I live about 2 blocks from the post office and Miss College Ink lives on the south side of town! I hope it makes it by Valentine’s Day!

Thanks for stopping by! Your comments always make me feel xox!
