WOW,  what a busy weekend it was…finally getting back to the swing of things!  On Saturday, we had a surprise 50th Birthday party for one of SIL. Then on Sunday, we had to see off Miss College Ink’s boyfriend- Johno. He is in the Air Force and is now station in Vegas! It was much harder on all of then we thought it was going to be.  His family and ours all had lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings before he headed off to the airport.  Nick (one of Johno’s brother’s) challenged me to eat a blazen boneless wing. Of course, I had to take the challenge! It was the nastiest thing I have ever eaten. Yeah, it was hot but more off it was nasty!

I finally got back to my studio. I worked on some more postcards.

Some talk of snow

It is December now and NO snow here in WI 😦 On Thanksgiving we had a sneeze of snow that is it! They say we might get some tonight or tomorrow! I have my fingers crossed! I want a date with Mall Hill to go sledding! LOL!

Last night Miss College Ink came over and we work on some Christmas cards. Ok, Leighia got a ton more done that I did. We had a blast 🙂

On a jet plane

My step-daughter Leighia has been out in New York City since Wednesday with her mom. They are flying back today! Leighia was really good at tormenting me with text and photos of NYC (J/K I loved everyone).  My dream has always been to see a Broadway play and see the Macy Thanksgiving Day parade! Well, she saw two plays- Chicago and The perfect crime. She said they were both amazing! Leighia also posted some photos on facebook of things they did. I promptly stole her photos (evil laugh). Did some photo magic and made made her this mini book. I got the instructions for how to make this last weekend when I was over at Scrapbook News and Review. I am getting ready to run it over and put it in her mailbox, hoping that I do not get arrested. LOL!

These are the pages that go inside the pages- since they all have pockets. The backs of these I left a spot for Leighia to journal about her trip or add more photos if she wants! Hope is she is pleasantly surprised and likes the book (fingers crossed)!
